2011..

Happy New Year! With a fall season independent release, Wounded Electric Youth, just got out there in time to generate some attention before year’s end. We’re pleased the record was listed as one of the Top Albums of the year on Americana Boogie out of Santa Rosa, CA, and Beat Surrender, alongside Justin Townes Earle, Elvis Costello, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Willie Nelson, and others, in addition to the great reviews still coming in.

We’re busy working on the trailer for the Mali film and the cover art and packaging for the Malian album, Dugu Wolo. Hoping for a release later this year either on a world music label or a new, as-yet-unnamed Cowboy Angel imprint. Read about the grand vision on Adam’s new Tumblr blog, where he’ll be chiming in about the project and other Mali-related thoughts from time to time.

Adam’s also headed to Nicaragua to lead a service learning program for one week this month. But first, some shows:
